The Ball Joint Doll project I've been working on since November 2009 (holy crap that's a long time...) is FINALLY COMPLETE! There are eight photos currently in the series, and I can't wait to share them all with you. The two dolls have names and I will proudly introduce them both. It's been a super secret process so I am really excited that everything is complete (minus wings sadly, never got around to those!) But I don't care, I'm happy without them!

I created these two based off a drawing I did in 2009 and have finally brought them both to life.

The boy: Atrium (The morbid yet caring goth boy)
Head: Elijah from Alice in Labyrinth - painted by me
Body: Tobias from Fantasy Doll

The girl: Ventricle (The shy and gentle goth girl)
Violet - Extra Curricular Limited Edition - Rosette School of Dolls from Soom

Yep, heart anatomy! Why? Because I have a heart condition and I name all my dolls after my illnesses. Besides, the names of these two come from the heart and the heart represents love, so the names are too perfect.
